It is the number 1 market in Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) in terms of profitability, both in absolute and margin terms, and close to number 2 in terms of NSV.

Globally, we are the second most profitable market for Diageo, after North America. Key deliverables Provide regulatory leadership and expertise for CCA markets monitoring any new legislation in these markets.

Own the Regulatory process for the markets. Approve all packaging and liquid formulae for the territories. Provide regulatory compliance of all Diageo products produced and imported in CCA.

Interpret and recommend position for Diageo in front of missing or ambiguous legislation. Work with external counsels to solidify the suggested way forward.

Influence new legislation as it is being developed to drive equity, simplicity and clarity. Help build business cases for legislation changes working with Corporate Relations and our Regulatory teams across Diageo.

Provide Training on regulatory compliance and standards building on the Global Regulatory framework. Qualifications / requirements Degree qualified, either with a Science, Engineering, Regulatory discipline or a Para Legal background and qualification.

Demonstrated experience in the pre-packed food and drinks industry and expertise in food laws, packaging, the regulatory environment of the beverage alcohol industry in LA&C, including taxation regimes for beverage alcohol products.

Proven leadership skills particularly in regard to engagement and influencing senior Commercial and Supply leaders. Experience within a market environment and a sound understanding of commercial principles.
