Telecoms engineer

Job Purpose :

Provisioning of an efficient, profitable and reliable Cisco Unified Communications, Unified Contact Center Enterprise and Call Recording solution.

Implementation and operation of a centralized Call Manager - Contact Center infrastructure including the corresponding components like gateway routers, Unity servers and CTI integration with SAP CRM and SAP BW.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Administration of Cisco Voice Network including : CUCM, UCCE, Unity, CUIC, CVP, GW-Routers, SIP Proxy and CTI Integration with SAP CRM

Administration of Call Recording Opentext Qfinity

Technical training of End users

Monitoring and optimization of Cisco Voice infrastructure to insure and improve efficiency and profitability

Problem analysis and problem solving of voice issues, reporting, Call flow and Unified Communications issues

Independent co-ordination and realization of Projects in Voice and Contact Center environments

Independent evaluation IPT / VoIP technologies with regards to beneficial and efficient implementation within the Tech Data Group

Essential Project Management knowledge for implementation of new sites

Co-ordination and communication with external Service Providers and consultants

Additional by corresponding manager named duties

Knowledge, Skills, and / or Abilities Required

University Degree in Telecoms Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline; equivalent experience acceptable

Certified CCNP Voice or similar

3 Years of related experience in design and administration of Cisco IPT solutions

Significant knowledge of Cisco IPT products such as : Unified Communication Manager, Unity, IVR, UCCE, CTI integration, Lync integration

Knowledge of Call Recording platforms such as Autonomy or Nice

Proficiency in MS-Office products

Knowledge on CTI integration with SAP

Knowledge in Local and Wide Area Networking

Able to work effectively in a Multi-tasking environment

Able to effectively communicate in English

Willingness to travel
