An important company in the industrial/packaging sector located in Logroño, needs to incorporate a Accounting and Administration Manager
Reporting to Finance Manager you main purpose will be:
- To be responsible for the supervision and control of the general accounting for the 4 Spanish legal entities.
- To manage the key relationship with the European Shared Services Centre who is performing the main accounting activities
- To be responsible for preparation of the statutory financial statements and other key reports, and be main point of contact with local tax and other authorities on a regular and special request basis.
- To manage financial controls of the business in line with Company policies (Sox, Internal/external audits)
PROFILE
- A university graduate, preferably fully qualified Accountant status (CIMA, ACCA or equivalent)
- Proven relevant experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally at least 2 years post qualification

- Excellent communication skills; ability to review and present data to Financial and Non-Financial Managers. Experience of report writing for management and in preparing budgets

- Have the ability to portray analytical skills and drive continuous improvements
- Experience in systems, including Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (macros) and ERP system experience (SAP) Knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley and Spanish Local Regulations (Tax, VAT, Insurance, etc)
- Spanish and fluent English (both verbal and written)
