POSITION PURPOSE:
We are looking for a highly motivated Marketing Executive to join Spanish team and support marketing efforts in Iberian marketplace. The primary purpose of this role is to support the delivery of the marketing strategy, across the intermediary (both discretionary and advisor) channels. The role oversees the execution of activities across the marketing mix. Reporting to the Head of Marketing Southern Region and working with the Sales Team in Madrid and with wider marketing team in London/Milan, the candidate will ensure the production and timely delivery of high-quality campaigns, events and other ad-hoc activities to the marketplace that increase T Rowe Price’s brand awareness, consideration and selection among professional investors. The candidate will also liaise with investments teams, internal partners, compliance and advertising team, as well as external agencies and partners.
Principal Responsibilities:
Deliver as well as manage the execution of new and on-going marketing initiatives
Working under the direction of the Senior Marketing Manager in Milan and in conjunction with the wider Southern Europe, EMEA marketing team and Spanish Sales Team, manage appropriate resources in the creation, compliance review and production of output, as well as dissemination and measurement following production.
Output includes, but is not limited to, presentation decks, videos and webinars, paid media, content, email promotions and e-newsletters.
Events support (hosted and sponsored)
Working closely with the Senior Administrative Manager, and in partnership with EMEA Events Manager to ensure we adopt events best practice in the region, the resource will have the ownership and maintenance of the annual event calendar. Support/own the management and delivery of quality proprietary and third parties’ events including timely communications (from invites deployment to follow-ups), marketing collateral, giveaways and metrics.
Advertising and content delivery
Working with the EMEA advertising manager to support the development and delivery of advertising and paid content aligned to media plans and third-party partnerships – including proofing against specs, compliance, supply, tracking and reporting. Own and report on distribution of content through key content partnerships.
PR and external communication support
Working with EMEA PR team, the resource will support with media relations, acting as main point of contact for Journalists’ requests to feed back to EMEA team. She will also be able to take centrally generated content in English, extrapolate key messages and deliver locally to feed paid media and other content partnerships.
Email communications
Ownership of regular emails (monthly newsletters and servicing emails) and event emails – from the briefing to the EMEA Design team and/or Product Marketing team through to compliance, ensuring emails are relevant, effective and timely. The role will work closely with the Digital Marketing specialist in Milan to develop these local communications and utilize metrics to identify client behaviors and share insights for follow-up.
Data and Reporting
Working with the Digital Marketing specialist in Italy and the enablement team in EMEA, the candidate will understand the importance of measuring marketing activity and ensure that the appropriate metrics are identified, captured and monitored, collaborating to the process of targeting and segmentation of marketing communications to build client profiles, lead nurturing, journeys etc.
PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES / SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Minimum of 3-5 years related work experience in investment management marketing
  • General understanding of investments and product segments
  • Process/project management skills (compliance, spreadsheet management and communication of progress)
  • Intellectual curiosity and desire to learn about current trends in the intermediary marketplaces
  • Ability to prioritize and juggle multiple projects
  • Details oriented
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Good interpersonal skills (ability to manage expectations and work with stakeholders across multiple business units, including distribution and investment stakeholders)
  • PC literate (MS Office Suite)
  • A strong, collaborative team player who can work as part of the team or independently.
  • Fluent in English
