Are you a highly skilled Software Developer / Backend Software Engineer with strong C# .Net Core skills and technical leadership experience?
You could be progressing your career at a market leading SaaS software house that specialise in secure communications recording and management for regulated environments such as trade floors.
As a Lead Software Developer you'll remain hands-on whist managing a small Agile team (4-5). You'll collaborate with the Product Owner to refine requirements and deliver on the product backlog, you'll take ownership and run projects ensuring that delivery deadlines are met and that software best practice is upheld. The team is currently migrating a major VoIP product over to .Net Core and there are plenty of new projects in the pipeline.
You'll provide technical leadership, mentoring, 1-2-1s and expertise with a focus on backend development using .Net Core within a microservices environment with Kubernetes, AWS and CI/CD pipelines.
There's a remote interview and onboarding process with the ability to work from home fulltime from anywhere in Spain; the office is based in Madrid and you could work there part of the week if desired and may need to visit occasionally for meetups.
Requirements:
- You have technical / team leadership experience, happy to mentor and develop others
- You have experience of running projects across the full development lifecycle and delivering on time
- You have strong C# .Net Core design and development experience
- You have experience with AWS SaaS environments
- You have experience with Kubernetes, microservices, CI/CD pipelines and understanding of IaC (Infrastructure as Code) concepts
- You have excellent English language communication skills
