About the role

The Recruiter role helps support the high-volume hiring needs of the various campaigns / departments within our sites. The Recruiter is responsible for managing requisitions, consulting with hiring managers and developing unique hiring & sourcing strategies that will aid in hiring quality team members.

The recruiter also selects appropriate assessments, sets pass criteria, reviews assessments, pre-screens candidates, and schedules interviews with hiring managers.

Additionally, this individual welcomes new team members and assists them in making the transition from candidate to team member including tracking attrition, job fit, and quality of hire.

The ideal candidate should enjoy working with people, have experience with Full Life Cycle Recruiting practices, have experience with high-volume recruiting, be familiar with navigating an Applicant Tracking System, and be comfortable progressing projects individually or as a team.

Responsibilities :

Independently manage assigned requisitions, develop hiring strategies, and adhere to timelines in order to successfully meet headcount requests

Source candidates using a variety of means including online job boards, proactive reach outs, email campaigns, job fairs, referral programs, local employment resources, etc.

Review resumes, pre-screen candidates, and conduct phone and face-to-face interviews

Administer assessments, facilitate interviews with hiring managers, and maintain candidate results

Run reports, monitor run rates, track trends, and make adjustments to hiring strategies as needed

Work within an Applicant Tracking System to update candidates’ progression through the hiring process

Negotiate compensation, draft offer letters, and walk employees through the new hire onboarding process (including completion of required new hire forms and documentation)

Submit and review backgrounds checks, drug tests, and other pre-employment tests and help track results

Maintain confidentiality of candidate and employee records and information

Knowledge : English - B2 :

  • Oral and written comprehension.
  • Appropriate use of language.

Proficiency in Google Workspace or MS Office applications

Customer Service - Advanced.

Motivation Theory - Advanced.

Feedback techniques, learning, and development - Basic.

Education Programs - Advanced.

Knowledge of social media with respect to recruitment sourcing

Studies & Experience :

Some Post Secondary Education - Desirable.

Experience recruiting for BPO / Contact Center industry

2+ years of full life cycle recruiting experience

2+ years of high-volume recruiting experience (averaged 30+ hires per month)

Strong previous administrative experience

Experience working with an applicant tracking system (ATS)
